CFGU marks integrity week ’16 @MUBS

In a bid to spread awareness about corruption and it’s dangers and ways of prevention among youth. CFGU organized the Integrity week at Makerere University Business School from 2nd – 4th Nov, 2016 under the theme: “Embracing in integrity among youth, answer to the corruption question.” The event involved 3 days workshop where over 700 youth from various universities were trained in the values of integrity by various guest speakers including;

  • Mr. Pius Bigirimana – P S MoGLSD,
  • Olweny Paul – HR Consultant
  • Mr. Peter Kimbowa – Managing Partner IFE,
  • Mr. James Ebitu – Program Manager Youth Livelihood Program
  • Ms. Esther Wasagali – ACCU, among others.

In addition the event equipped the participants with entrepreneurial skills, CV writing and requirements in preparation for interviews.This triggered the participants(youth) to comprehend their role in the fight against corruption and their willingness to actively participate was evidenced by the massive turn-up for the event. And also their responses from the baseline survey undertaken that’s undergoing analysis which indicated the zeal and readiness to stand up for this cause.
